Our Story
Smarti (formerly smart-i®) is the dashcam and vehicle tracking division of Y3K (Europe) Limited, a UK technology company based in Croydon since 2000.
Our team created SmartWitness in 2007 — the company that pioneered commercial fleet dashcams and went on to protect over 250,000 vehicles across 50+ countries. SmartWitness was acquired by Sensata Technologies in 2021, and the technology has been integrated into fleets operated by some of the world's largest logistics and transport companies.
We took everything we learned building SmartWitness — what fleet operators actually need, what they don't, and what they shouldn't have to pay for — and built something simpler and more affordable. We're not a reseller. We design our own products, build our own platform, provide direct UK support, and answer the phone when you call.
The result is Smarti: fleet dashcams and tracking that work, at a price that makes sense, backed by a team with 25 years of proven experience.
